(ORAL) Present petition has been filed seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for the release of alleged detenue, namely, Prabhjot Kaur daughter of the petitioner, who according to the petitioner, is kept in illegal custody by respondent No.3 and is being tortured. This Court highly appreciates the efforts of learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State, who ensured that this Court is able to converse with the alleged detenue through video conferencing, which interaction was also witnessed by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after witnessing the said interaction of the alleged detenue with the Court, submits that he does not want to press this writ petition any further and the same may be disposed of as such.

Ordered accordingly.
