(oral) Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that this petition may be disposed of as withdrawn in terms of the status report filed by way of affidavit of Gurmeet Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter, Amritsar (Rulral), in which it is submitted that in case matter is not resolved amicably, then further appropriate action shall be taken as per law. However, liberty be granted to the petitioners for revival of this petition in case the needful is not done. In view of the above, the present petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
