Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for quashing the impugned orders dated 31.08.2016 (P-13 & P-14), vide which extension in service granted to the petitioner on 20.04.2016 (P-12) was curtailed, while relieving her from service on the ground of involving in FIR No. 190, dated 24.09.2014, under Sections 406/498-A/323 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Division No. 1, Jalandhar.

At the very outset, learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that due to efflux of time, present petition has been rendered infructuous.

Ordered accordingly.
