The instant petition under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponds to Section 438 Cr.P.C.) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.43 dated 15.03.2026, under Sections 137(2), 87 and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding Sections 363, 366 and 120-B IPC) registered at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar Rural and Section 127(7) of BNS added later on.

The Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 18.05.2026, while issuing notice of motion, granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to her joining the investigation. 3.

Learned State counsel does not controvert the said fact and further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. 5.
