The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 530 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (old Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,1973) with a prayer to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to conclude the investigation arising out of FIR No.0085 dated 17.07.2023 under Section 306 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sujanpur, Tehsil and District Pathankot (Annexure P-1) in a time bound manner.

A status report by way of an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, (Dharkalan), District Pathankot has been filed on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3 and the same is taken on record. 3.

Learned State counsel submits that in the present case the investigation has been concluded and the final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. has already been presented before the Competent Court. 4.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. 5.

Dismissed as not pressed.
