(Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of an appropriate writ or direction in the nature of certiorari praying for quashing of order dated 11.12.2018 (Annexure P-8) vide which the services of the present petitioner have been terminated by respondent No.2; along with certain other prayers.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not been provided fair hearing due to the provisions contained in Rule 167 of the Assam Rifles Rules, 2010. Therefore, he has to challenge the vires of the said Rule.

In view of the above, permission is sought to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file fresh petition to challenge the aforesaid Rule.
