This writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of directions to the respondents to decide an alleged appeal, filed by the petitioner on 16.05.2018. It has further been prayed that the respondents be directed not to remove the petitioner from the job.

It has been noticed that the petitioner was working as a Constable in 42nd Battalion of the Border Security Force before he was removed from the job..

Mr. Sudhir Nar, Advocate, has appeared for the respondents pursuant to supply of an advance copy of the writ petition. He submits that the petitioner was dismissed from the service in the year 2005. He further submits that now if any appeal has been preferred by the petitioner, the same shall be decided within a period of three months.
