CWP-14785-2023 and connected cases -2SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) 1.

Mr. Puneet Jindal, learned senior counsel for the petitioners states that all the matters are squarely covered by judgment passed in Raj Kapoor and others Versus Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and others, Law Finder Doc ID # 2820131.

2.

Mr. Sukhdev Singh, Advocate, and Mr. Jayant Yadav, Advocate, counsel for respondent No.1 in CWP-5699-2024, and CWP-7906-2024, respectively, have fairly conceded that their cases are covered. 3.

For the reasons recorded in Raj Kapoor's case (supra), impugned awards passed by Parmanent Lok Adalat for Public Utility Services (for short "the PLA"), are set aside.

4.

All six writ petitions are allowed.

5.

Liberty is granted to the claimant(s) to take recourse to the remedy available to them for claiming compensation on account of death or injury caused due to electrocution.

6.

It is clarified that wherever compensation awarded by PLA has been disbursed, it shall not be recovered from the claimant(s), but it shall be adjusted against damages, if any, granted in case the claimant(s) opt to pursue remedy available to them in accordance with law.
