(ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking writ in the nature of mandamus for direction to the respondent authorities to enquire into the addition of 16 new votes in voter's list just at the time of elections for Gram Panchayat Kheri Matarwa, Block Pundri, District Kaithal by respondent No.5. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the election petition is already pending, he may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition.
