(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, is for issuance of direction to official respondents No.3 and 4 to conduct inquiry on the allegations levelled against the private respondents for embezzlement of the grant given for development of Panchayat. Further prayer has been made to direct respondents No.3 and 4 to decide the representation dated 02.02.2024 (Annexures P-1 and P-2, respectively), filed by the petitioner. After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail the alternative appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
