The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia seeking a mandamus directing the respondents not to demolish the dwelling houses of the inhabitants of Naga Baba Colony, situated in 2-D-K Block of NIT Faridabad. Further a writ of certiorari has been sought for quashing the show-cause notices dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-1 Colly). 2.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that in pursuance to the show-cause notices dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-1 Colly), the petitioners have submitted representation dated 29.07.2016 (Annexure P-2) before respondent No. 3. It was urged that the same has not been decided so far.
