CWP No.18651 of 2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not intend to press this petition for a writ of Certiorari, at this stage. He further submits that having reservation at the authenticity of impugned communication Annexures P-5 and P-6, petitioner approached the respondent authorities by way of representation dated 27.6.2016 (Annexure P-7), but no action thereon has been taken. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent no.4 is directed to take Greesh Sahni 2016.10.07 12:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case at this stage, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, present writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the Regional Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Jalandhar-respondent no.4, to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner raised by the petitioner in his representation dated 27.6.2016 (Annexure P-7) and take appropriate action thereon at an early date, but in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the above said observations made and directions issued, present writ petition stands dismissed.
