This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.36 dated 27.04.2025 under Sections 109, 333, 115(2), 118(1), 324(4), 191(3), 190, 351(2), 351(3) of BNS and under Section 25 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station Ghanie ke Bangar, District Batala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that no specific role has been attributed to the petitioner in the present FIR and in fact there is civil dispute between the complainant and Hardial Singh who wants to encroach upon the plot of Hardial Singh. He further contends that the petitioner is not involved in any other case.

A Coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 26.05.2025, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on adinterim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS. CRM-M-28570-2025 -24. Learned State counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 26.05.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482(2) BNSS. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
