(ORAL) Petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the approval/permission dated 23.11.2015 (Annexure P-6) granted by GMADA for construction of office room in green belt of Joginder Vihar Society, Mohali under the MPLAD Scheme.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that since questions of fact are involved and are required to be established by leading evidence, therefore, he may be allowed to withdraw this petition with liberty to avail the alternative remedy either by way of civil suit or to take recourse to other remedies as may be available under law.
