(ORAL) Prayer in the present 1st petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.34 dated 15.04.2023 under Sections 498-A/495/420/417/406/506/120-B IPC registered at Police Station Division No.1, Pathankot (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom including the police report/challan (Annexure P-3).

Status report dated 04.12.2024 filed by way of an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sub Division City), District Pathankot on behalf of respondent No.1-State of Punjab in Court today is taken on record.

After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to grant the relief prayed; learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to raise all pleas before the learned trial Court.
