Feeling dissatisfied with the quantum of compensation, as granted by the learned trial Court to the victims concerned, through drawing the order dated 27.03.2024, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition for issuance of directions upon the respondent No.2 to grant compensation to his son, on account of him being a sexual abuse victim, under the Haryana Victim Compensation Scheme, 2020, instead of the repealed Scheme of 2013.

This Court posed a specific query to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as to whether the petitioner has challenged the order (supra) under the apt provisions of law, to which he answered in negative. Therefore, this Court is of the view that, the instant writ petition is a misconceived motion inasmuch as the petitioner is seized of an efficacious DEVINDER YADAV 2025.04.07 17:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-15795-2024 remedy to file appeal against the order (supra), on account of grant of inadequate compensation.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the instant writ petition, however, with liberty to take recourse to the appropriate statutory remedy for redressal of petitioner's grievance.

Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, with liberty (supra).
