**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J. (Oral) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3, to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, who apprehend threat to their life at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 7, who are none other than the children of petitioners No.2 and 3. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that private respondents No.4 to 7 have been extending threats of dire consequences to the petitioners and are trying to dispossess them from their property/ancestral house in which regard a representation dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) was also made to respondent No.2 - Superintendent of Police, Ambala, for protection of their life and liberty but in vain. Hence, they are seeking protection in that regard and have approached this Court by way of filing the instant petition. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the petition is disposed off with a direction to the official respondents to consider and decide their complaint/representation dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) filed by them.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Rahul Mohan, Sr. DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. 6.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a directions to respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Ambala to look into the representation dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) qua the alleged threat perception and take necessary steps, as may be required, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
