Petitioner seeks a direction to respondent no. 2 for issuance of his passport. According to learned counsel, a cancellation report is likely to be filed in the case pending against the petitioner. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that a report shall be sought from the District Police, Hoshiarpur and fresh order shall be passed thereafter at the earliest, in any case not later than three months.

In view of above, no further adjudication of the matter is necessary. Disposed of.
