G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Counsel restricts his prayer to the extent that his legal notice dated 01.07.2015 (Annexure P-3) be decided within a fixed time frame. Relief claimed in the present writ petition is for grant of Assured Progression Scheme on completion of 4, 9 and 14 years. It is submitted that the petitioner was working as a Pump Operator and was appointed on 01.06.1987 and retired on 31.05.2013 on attaining the age of 58 years. He was granted extension till 31.05.2015 and has sent a legal notice.

Keeping in view the limited relief sought, this Court does not feel necessary to call upon the State to file reply. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 3 to take into consideration the legal notice dated 01.07.2015 (Annexure P-3) and decide the same within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
