Civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the impugned office order dated 26.08.2016, whereby petitioner was relieved from the post of Chairman, Permanent Lok Adalat (Public Utility Services), for short 'PLA (PUS)' in the Union Territory, Chandigarh.

Admittedly, the petitioner was appointed as Chairman on 28.01.2014 by respondent No.4.

Also matter of record that in view of the interim stay dated 09.09.2016, the petitioner rejoined his duty and that arrangement has been ordered to continue from time to time.

Learned counsel, on instructions from petitioner, submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same be disposed off as such.
