The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner impugning the transfer order dated 05.06.2024 (Annexure P-8) whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Jiwan Arain, District Ferozepur to Makhu, District Ferozepur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said transfer is against the transfer policy dated 31.05.2023 (Annexure P-7) as firstly, the petitioner has been transferred before completion of tenure of 03 years on the present place of posting and he is due to retire on 31.03.2026. He further submits that the petitioner has already submitted representation dated 06.06.2024 (Annexure P-9), however, without considering the said representation, he has been relieved on 07.06.2024. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the present case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, to consider and take a final decision on the representation dated 06.06.2024 (Annexure P-9), in view of the transfer policy dated 31.05.2023 (Annexure P-7), within a period of 03 weeks from today.
