In the present petition, the grievance of the petitioners is that petitioner No. 1 is entitled for the grant of compassionate appointment after the death of her father.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners were minor at the time when their father died and upon attaining the age of majority, petitioners had applied for the grant of appointment on compassionate ground which process was initiated but the same was not being finalized.

Learned counsel for the petitioners further submits that the present petition was filed in the year 2019 and even at that time, the process for appointing the petitioners on compassionate ground was in progress but no information has been supplied to the petitioners with regard to the outcome of the said process.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that though no reply has been filed to the petition, but as per his instructions which has been received from the Director Health Services, the approval for grant the compassionate appointment to the petitioners had already been granted by RIYA 2023.11.22 15:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-19754-2019 (O&M) -22023:PHHC: 147768 the authorities concerned and appropriate order appointing petitioner No. 1 on the basis of compassionate ground will be passed within a period of ten days from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement made by learned State counsel, the grievance of the petitioners stands satisfied and the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to the petitioner to revive the present petition in case, the claim of the petitioners does not considered by the respondents-department.
