Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.23 dated 19.04.2019 under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on), registered at Police Station Kahnuwan, District Gurdaspur. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have gone through the record.
The perusal of the record shows that both the present petitioners are named in the FIR and are stated to be armed with deadly weapons. Both these petitioners have caused grievous injuries with sharp edged weapons.
Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances of the present case that both the petitioners have played active role in the VINEET GULATI 2019.07.18 11:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
CRM No.M-29710 of 2019 -2commission of the offence, I find that petitioners are required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to them.
Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
