Prayer made in the present petition is for directions to the respondents to fix the pay as per instructions dated 06.04.2010, whereby the Ayurvedic Medical Officer have been granted the revised initial scale of Rs.7220-11600 and placed in the scale of Rs.7880-11660 on completion of 8 years service on 01.01.1996 and the subsequent scales.

Learned State counsel refers to the reply dated 23.07.2012 filed by Director Research and Medical Education, Punjab, wherein it has been stated that the petitioner was adjusted as Resident Physician on his own request in the year, 1991 in the pay scale meant for the said post and his lien was terminated from the post of AMO vide order dated 13.11.1991 and he continued in the said department till his retirement on 30.11.2009 and during his service career, he was granted all benefits under the ACP scheme and therefore, he could not claim the scale meant for District Ayurvedic Medical Officer, which was a post in his previous MOHIT 2025.05.28 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
