Prayer made in the present petitions is for quashing the order dated 02.07.2013 qua petitioner Nos.1, 11, 15, 13 and 8 respectively, whereby respondent No.2 has informed that the New Contributory Pension Scheme will be applicable to them and rejected their requrest for allotment of General Provident Fund numbers.

This Court on 15.03.2019, had ordered for listing this case after the decision in CWP-24446-2017 titled as Jeet Singh and Others vs. State of Punjab and Others, which stands decided on 23.08.2023, against which no LPA MOHIT 2025.03.26 10:38 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-20600-2014 (O&M) CWP-24178-2015 (O&M) -2has been filed, therefore, learned counsel for the petitioners prays that these petitions may be disposed of in the same terms, to which learned State counsel being unable to controvert regards the factual position and draw out any distinctive aspects in the aforementioned judgment or cite any contrary law. 4.
