State of Punjab and others), whereby as many as 17 writ petitions were disposed of by this court.

On the asking of the court, Sh. Yatinder Sharma, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Punjab. After hearing learned counsel for the parties, present writ petition is disposed of, in terms of the order dated 16.8.2016 passed by this court in Gram Panchayat Khippannwali's case (supra). Disposed of accordingly.
