(ORAL) The petitioner through the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., is seeking direction to official respondents to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and other family members at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that the petitioner has threat perception from private respondents against whom FIR No. 87 dated 08.07.2022, under Sections 148, 149, 323 and 506 IPC and Section 10 and 12 of POCSO Act has been registered at Women Police Station, Ballabgarh, District Faridabad. The police is not looking into the matter and there is threat perception to life and liberty of the petitioner as well her family members. As per status report dated 18.08.2022 filed by State, an PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2023.02.28 18:22 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRWP-7458 of 2022 -2FIR was registered at the behest of petitioner against the private respondents and another FIR was registered against the family members of the petitioner at the behest of private respondents. The police after completing investigation, has filed its report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. against the petitioner as well private respondents in their respective FIRs.

Learned State counsel submits that there is no threat perception and they have recorded statements of various persons including petitioner. It is a case of dispute between two families. In view of status report filed by learned State counsel and statement of learned State counsel, no further order, at this stage, is warranted. The petitioner is at liberty to approach an appropriate authority if, at any stage, she feels threat perception at the hands of private respondents.

Petition stands disposed of.
