By this common order, CRR(F)-307-2021 and CRR(F)-84-2022 are hereby adjudicated as both are arising out of same impugned order. 2.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that the matter qua determination of final maintenance is pending before the Family Court and they have filed petitions assailing interim order whereby the Family Court has granted interim maintenance of Rs.18,000/- per month. Learned counsel for the parties are in tandem that the Family Court may be directed to determine final maintenance within 06 months from the next date fixed before the Family Court i.e. 17.07.2023. 4.

Learned counsel for the respondent (husband) submits that the respondent would clear 50% of arrears within 06 months apart from regular monthly payment of maintenance.

In view of statements of learned counsel for the parties, the present petitions are disposed of with the following directions: i) The Family Court would expeditiously adjudicate final maintenance and preferably within 06 months from 17.07.2023 i.e. the next date fixed before the Family Court.

ii) The husband shall continue to pay maintenance as awarded by Family Court and would further clear 50% of the arrears within 06 months from today.

It is made clear that the above directions would not affect rights and liability of the parties and the Family Court shall decide final maintenance without being prejudiced by observations of this Court.
