The present petition is filed seeking directions to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Ludhiana (Rural) and S.H.O., Police Station Sadar, Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural) to register an FIR against the accused on the basis of complaint dated 14th August, 2020. The grievance raised is that the police came to the spot on 12th August, 2020 yet no action was taken. Learned State counsel, appearing on advance notice, submits that the complaint has been forwarded to S.I.-Vinod Kumar who is investigating the matter and has called the other parties also, thereafter and action would be taken, in accordance with law.

In view of statement made, the present petition is disposed of.
