There are two loan accounts of the deceased husband of petitioner and the total amount recoverable against both the accounts is approximately `33.00 lacs. The Bank has finally decided to auction the agricultural land of the petitioner for recovery of the loan amount of one of the account only. The auction is fixed for tomorrow, i.e 29.05.2018. At this juncture, the petitioner has approached this Court with a draft of `5.00 lac to show that given some reasonable time alongwith concession in interest, she is ready to settle both the loan accounts. We are of the view that such a decision can be taken by respondent No.2- Bank only. When the Bank has already taken measures to auction the mortgaged property, it is not expedient to stall the auction at this stage. The prayer to that effect is, thus, declined. The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms.
