Upon instructions from ASI, Randhir Singh, State counsel submits that after investigation of FIR No.159, dated 30.08.2021, registered for offences under sections 7 and 9 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavenger and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013, at Police Sttion Sahnewal, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, matter has been investigated and the cancellation report has been presented. Upon further instructions, he states that notices are being issued to the complainant-petitioner, who is not appearing before the learned Magistrate, and the next date before the Court concerned is 04.10.2025.
