The dispute relates to the enhancement demanded by the respondents. The respondents concerned are directed to respond to the representation dated 16.03.2016 (Annexure P-6) as early as possible and preferably by 16.08.2017. It is clarified, however, that this order shall not be a ground for the non-payment of any dues by the petitioners. If the petitioners do not make payment, they will do so at their own risk. Further, the petitioners are also at liberty to pay the amount without protest and subject to their right to recover the same.
