[The aforesaid presence is being recorded through video conferencing since the proceedings are being conducted in virtual Court] Petitioner, a resident of Village Kurda, Tehsil and District SAS Nagar,Mohali, by way of present writ petition under Article 226 is praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing respondent no.6-Gram Panchayat Village Kurda, not to construct wall before demarcation on the land belonging to Gram Panchayat situated in Khasra No.41 measuring 45 kanals 46 marlas in Village Kurda, as it will allegedly help illegal occupants to encroach upon the Panchayat land, who otherwise in previous round of litigation upto Hon'ble Apex Court have been ordered to be ejected from the same and in fresh round of litigation, in a pending Appeal, respondent no.2-Joint Development Commissioner, vide order dated 7.3.2019 (P-9) has directed parties to maintain status quo.
