Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing at length, submits that the issue raised by the petitioner regarding Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 stands squarely covered by the decision of the Supreme Court in Indore Development Authority v. Manohar Lal and others, AIR 2020 SC 1496. He, however, prays for withdrawal of the petition with liberty to approach the respondentauthority by filing a representation and taking up the issue of seeking parity in treatment in respect of release of land that has been granted by the respondent(s) to other similarly situated persons. The petition is disposed of in terms of the statement of learned counsel for the petitioner, with the liberty prayed for.
