Civil writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of writ in the nature of Certiorari to quash the impugned office order dated 29.07.2016, whereby petitioners were relieved from the post(s) of Member(s), Permanent Lok Adalats (Public Utility Services), for short 'PLA (PUS)' in the State of Punjab. 2.

Admittedly, both the petitioners were appointed as Member(s) on 03.09.2012 by respondent No.4.

Also matter of record that in view of the interim stay dated 15.09.2016, the petitioners rejoined their duties w.e.f. 19.09.2016 and that arrangement has been ordered to continue from time to time. 3.

Both sides are ad-item that this petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous in terms of order of even date passed in CWP No.15808 of 2016-Inderjit Kaushik and others Vs. State of Punjab and others.
