(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to frame Promotional Policy for each cadre in the services with respondent No.1-Corporation.
Counsels are ad idem that earlier one draft Policy was made on dated 1st of February, 2016 (Annexure P/14) and was put before the Board of Directors.
Counsel for respondent No.3 submits that a subsequent Policy framed by respondent-Corporation has already been approved by the Board of Directors and is pending consideration before the State. CWP-20090-2015 (O&M) -2present writ petition which is pending consideration since 2015 is disposed off with direction to respondent No.2 that in case, the Policy gets approval from the State of Punjab, the claim of the petitioner be considered in light thereof. In case he is found to be entitled for any notional benefit, the same shall be granted to him strictly in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.
