This petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has been filed seeking directions to the official respondents to register the cross-version by claiming that the gunshot injuries were suffered by the petitioner. Mr. Luvinder Sofat, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, has submitted that the Prosecuting Agency, vide General Diary Entry No. 20, dated 04.11.2020, after inquiry, has found the alleged injuries to be fabricated.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, prays for seeking permission to withdraw the present petition. Ordered accordingly.
