* * * * S.J. VAZIFDAR, A.C.J. (ORAL) The petitioners are residents of Sector 14 (West), Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh. By their letter dated 19.11.2014, they requested the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, U.T., Chandigarh to develop a park meant for the use by the residents of the area and to maintain hygienic conditions. Various other complaints including illegal parking of vehicles in the park were also made.

The respondents are directed to look into the grievances and to do the needful as expeditiously as possible. If for any reason, the respondents contend that they are not bound to do so, they shall communicate the reasons for the same to the petitioners forthwith and in any event within two weeks from today who shall be at liberty to challenge the same. 3.
