**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this Court, by way of instant writ petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, states that as of now, there is no apprehension of any adverse action against the petitioner, at the hands of private respondents. However, he seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to move an appropriate application before the Financial Commissioner, Punjab, as and when necessity arises.
