    ***** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (ORAL) 1. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had retired as Beldar on 30.06.2022, however, the gratuity, leave encashment, pension and commuted pension along with arrears have not been released, presumably on the ground there being a private complaint against him, with regard to his age, a certificate from the Civil Surgeon showing his age to be as recorded in the official record as demanded by the respondents, has been submitted on 16.06.2022, Annexure P-10. In this regard, a legal notice dated 15.01.2025, Annexure P-12, has been served upon respondents, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

2. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.05.28 16:04 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

CWP-15397-2025 (O&M) -2decide the legal notice dated 15.01.2025, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
