Petitioner has sought a direction to respondents no. 1 to 3 for decision on her representations Annexures P3 & P-5. Learned State counsel at the outset submits that husband of the petitioner has been declared a proclaimed offender in a case under section 406/498-A IPC registered at Police Station Chabbewal, District Hoshiarpur. According to him, further proceedings as envisaged by the code are being initiated. It appears a look out notice has already been issued. Under the circumstances, there is no ground for directing that husband of the petitioner be deported from Italy a country of which he is a permanent citizen. Besides, same would involve the question of sovereignty. Dismissed.
