Prayer in the present second petition is for grant of interim bail to the petitioner for a period of 15 days in case FIR No.226 dated 24.08.2025, under Section 21(C) of the NDPS Act (Sections 27& 29 of the NDPS Act added later on), registered at Police Station Anti-narcotics Force, District Anti-narcotics Task Force Wing, SAS Nagar, to enable the petitioner to solemnize his own marriage.

It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that in compliance of order dated 21.05.2026, after getting married, petitioner has already surrendered before the jail authorities on 28.05.2026. He submits that the passport of the petitioner was submitted before the Investigating Officer and the same be released to the family of the petitioner.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has surrendered before the Jail Authorities. 5.

Since the petitioner has already surrendered back in view of the order dated 21.05.2026, the present petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, the State is directed to release the passport to the family of the petitioner.
