Prayer made in the present petition is for directing respondent No.4 not to take forcible possession of the vehicle No.HR-45B-4922. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his case is squarely covered by the judgments passed by this Court in Ranjeet Singh vs. State of Punjab and Others, CRM-M-59214-2023 and Sunil Kumar vs. State of Punjab and Others, CRM-M-60911-2023, which were disposed of vide orders dated 24.11.2023 and 04.12.2023 respectively, by relying on the judgment of Hon'ble the Supreme Court in ICICI Bank Ltd. vs. Parkash Kaur and Others, 2007(2) SCC 711. In this regard, an application/representation dated 24.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) filed by the petitioner, may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 4.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondents to decide the application dated 24.04.2026, expeditiously, taking note of Ranjeet Singh and Sunil Kumar (supra) in accordance with law. Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
