In this writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing Rapat No.258 dated 25.11.2016 incorporated in the revenue record/farad of Plot No.66A, Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana.

Additional affidavit of Sh. Pardeep Kumar Agrawal, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana/respondent No.2 has been produced in Court today, wherein, it has been stated that respondent No.2 has been directed to vacate Rapat No.258 dated 25.11.2016 against property No.66-A, Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana owned by Smt. Suresh Devi. The relevant documents are annexed with the aforesaid affidavit as Annexures R-1 and R-2. The additional affidavit alongwith Annexures R-1 and R-2, are taken on record,
{2} subject to all just exceptions. The contents of the affidavit read thus:- "1.
That in the instant Civil Writ Petition, detailed reply by way of affidavit has already been filed by the deponent. After filing the detailed reply in this Hon'ble Court, a letter has been received in the office of the deponent from Sh. Rajiv Kumar Assistant Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Government of India, Jalandhar vide which it has been directed to vacate the Rapt No.258 dated 25.11.2016 against Property No.66-A, Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana owned by Smt. Suresh Devi. Copy of the letter is enclosed herewith as Annexure R-1. 2.
That on receipt of the aforesaid letter from Sh. Rajiv Kumar Assistant Director, Directorate of Enforcement, Government of India, Jalandhar, the deponent directed the Tehsildar, Ludhiana West vide letter No.8133/SK/NSK-II dated 11.10.2017 to take action as per the letter received from the Director of Enforcement. Accordingly Rapat No.258 dated 25.11.2016 has been got deleted only against property No.66A, Aggar Nagar, Ludhiana owned by Smt. Suresh Devi vide Rapt No.180 dated 24.10.2017 and necessary correction has been got made in the concerned revenue record. Copy of Rapt No.180 dated 24.10.2017 is enclosed herewith as Annexure R-2."

In view of the above, it was not disputed by learned counsel for the parties that the writ petition has been rendered infructuous and the same may be disposed of as such.
