***** AMAN CHAUDHARY, J. (ORAL) CM-2672-CWP-2025 Having heard learned counsel for the parties, the present application is allowed and the main case is taken on Board today itself. Main Case 1.

Learned counsel states that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment in Harpreet Kanwar vs. State of Punjab and another, CWP-24742-2014, decided on 10.02.2016, against which LPA dismissed on 18.01.2017, so also the SLP on 09.03.2018, whereafter it was implemented as also the judgment in State of Haryana through Chief Secretary vs. Dr. Rippudaman Singh Dhillon and others, CWP-194722017 and connected case, decided on 27.03.2019. He, on instructions, prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner in light thereof, in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 2.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the claim of the petitioner, within a period of 4 months, taking note HAMANT 2025.05.26 19:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-19225-2016 (O&M) of the aforesaid judgments, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
