RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the transfer order, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant writ petition, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari. He also seeks a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.8.2014 (Annexure P-8), which is pending decision.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not intend to press this petition qua the impugned transfer order (Annexure P-9), for the time being. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, in case respondent no.2 is directed to look into the genuine grievance of the petitioner raised in his self contained representation dated 28.8.2014 (Annexure P-8) and GREESH SAHNI 2015.02.12 15:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

At this stage, on the asking of the court, Ms. Anita Balyan, Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and fairly states that in case the representation dated 28.8.2014 (Annexure P-8) is pending decision, as claimed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, let the present writ petition be disposed of, while giving directions to respondent no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner, within a reasonable time. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Director General, C.R.P.F., CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.-respondent no.2 is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation dated 28.8.2014 (Annexure P-8), which prima facie seems to be genuine and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the above said observations made and directions issued, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
