**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The grievance of the petitioner is that he was illegally declared ineligible to participate in the selection process against the Advertisement No.8 of 2015 for the post of male constable. As per written statement filed by the respondent No.2, the petitioner was never declared ineligible rather he had already appeared for the Physical Screening Test (PST) and knowledge Test (KT) and secured 15 marks towards PST and 20.10 marks towards KT. The grand total of the petitioner was assessed 35.10 marks as against the cut off total of 36.4 marks which was secured by the last short listed candidate in BCA category. Since the petitioner had secured less marks than the last short listed candidate in BCA category, therefore, he was MOHMED ATIK 2023.03.14 17:01 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP No.15686 of 2017 (O&M) not called for Physical Measurement Test (PMT) for the post in question.
The aforesaid specific stand has not been countered by the petitioner by means of filing any replication. In view of above factual position, no interference is called for in this writ petition. Consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed.
