Present:
None for the petitioners.
Mr. Inderpal Singh Sabharwal, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab.
None for respondent No.2.
MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Case has been called twice, however, even on second call, there is no representation on behalf of either of the parties. On the last date as well, there had been no representation on behalf of the parties and hence, the Registry had been directed to intimate the counsel for the parties about the date fixed.
As per office report, the learned counsel had been duly intimated.
Vide order dated 02.03.2020, the parties had been directed to get their statements recorded before the trial Court with respect to the compromise effected between them. As per report dated 21.04.2023 received from the trial Court, the parties failed to comply with the order passed by this Court on 02.03.2020.
It would be pertinent to reproduce the following orders of the previous dates of hearing i.e. 04.05.2023 and 25.08.2023 respectively:- PUNEET SACHDEVA 2023.09.01 04:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document.

CRM-M-29781-2019 -2- "The case has been called twice, however, there is no representation on behalf of the parties.
Report dated 21.04.2023 from the trial Court has also been received wherein it has been reported that in compliance of order dated 02.03.2020, none of the parties had appeared to get their statements recorded with respect to the compromise so arrived at between them.
Purely in the interest of justice, adjourned to 26.05.2023."
"Case has been called twice, however, yet again there is no representation on behalf of the private parties. Purely in the interest of justice, adjourned to 01.09.2023.
It is made clear that in case there is no representation on beehalf of the parties, the instant petition would be dismissed for non-prosecution.
The Registry is directed to intimate the counsel for the private parties about the date fixed."
It is, thus, evident that the case is being adjourned time and again. It appears that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter any further.
Dismissed for non-prosecution.
