The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking directions to respondents to pay them compensation for the death of Kuldeep Singh in an accident caused by a stray animal. They are further seeking direction to respondent to decide their representations dated 16.10.2025 and 29.04.2026. 2.

As per pleadings, the deceased-Kuldeep Singh rammed his motorcycle into a tree on 18.01.2023 while trying to save a stray cow. He passed away on the spot. His family members have filed representations dated 16.10.2025 and 29.04.2026 seeking compensation but the same have not been addressed till date.

Learned State Counsel submits that petitioner's claim would be considered and their grievance would be addressed in accordance with applicable policy as well as judgment of this Court in Rajwinder Kaur Vs. State of Haryana and Anr.', Law Finder Doc ID#2379984. The needful would be done within 8 weeks from today. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioners agrees to the aforesaid arrangement.
