The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to the respondents to consider him for promotion to the post of Executive Engineer in Public Health Wing, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. 2.

Mr. Dhindsa, at the outset, submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed, if respondents are directed to decide his representation/legal notice dated 03.06.2024 (Annexure P-2) in a time bound manner.
